Blessed to start our imprint with the finest D&B music designed by Bungle.
Following up 'Cocooned EP' success Bungle drives you into a journey inside 2000's Drum & Bass golden years, full of textures and sound designs in between crispy-beats, plus handmade basses constructed with special techniques by the man himself inside a minimalist D&B roller camouflage.

KNOCKED DOWN is weird and dramatic tune with synths soundscapes very well balanced and in combination with a non-stop-offbeat-bass made with majesty by André Sobota. On the B-side he shows all his tools with Under Threshold.
Sick tune remains since the beginning the neurofunk era with a “response-and-call” technique between the midrange-bass and synths going insane after the breakdown full of textures!
Creepy, simple, hypnotic, primal and fucking beautiful!

i love both friske's music and the best drum&bass label, metalheadz. they fit perfectly. great jungle/amen infusions on track one, a real killer track and a wonderful piano sample on track 2. that's the way i like it. retro vibes, but fresh. i wish friske and quarz would so some tracks toegether... dub orange

I love this entire release, it shows FD’s range and appreciation of the depth and breadth of drum and bass styles out there — hard to pick a favorite because it’s like apples and oranges. Really dig “This is Not Science”, but since I am a Sun and Bass veteran, and we were supposed to be there reveling this week, “The Feeling” is my favorite because it immediately transports me right back to La Cinta.
